What I am!... You can be too!

"I am part of the fellowship of the unashamed. The dye has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I'm finished and done with low-living, small planning, smooth knees, color less dreams, tamed visions, worldy talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need pre-eminence, positions, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on his presence, walk with patience, am uplifted by prayer, and labor with power. My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven. My road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions are few, my guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, divided, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediacy. I won't give up, shut up, or let up until I have stayed up, stored up, and paid up for the cause of Christ. I must go till he comes, give till I drop, preach till all know and work till he stops me. And when he returns for his own, he will have no problem recognizing me. My banner will be clear."
~Henry B. Eyring

Can I say I love this Guy?!?! He just summed it up... I have not been what I can be! I. have. been. slacking. But because of Christ, I can change... We all need help. Nobody is perfect... Even the people who are perfect need help!
God is SoOoO good! He knew! He knew I needed Him, He knew I needed Christ! He. Knows. Me. and I know it!
I am changed! God knew I needed to read that quote. The spirit testified to me! I be be that person! I want my banner to be clear!

July the Fourth... My FaVoRiTe =)

So, there is no holiday that I love more than July 4th, Independence Day! I love it! I love celebrating that I live in a GrEaT country, a country based on the Freedom. One of the best experiences in my life is being privileged to see two of my relatives become citizens of The United States of America. In the Naturalization Ceremony you have the opportunity to hear some of the new citizens stories, it's those stories that help me to realize how blessed I really am. Anyway, this year I had a blast! We started out at 9:30 a.m.... We went shooting with the Millers (I just Love them!)Then I watched a few shows on Netflix with my mom... and then we went to Millers for dinner, and fireworks... how would I sum up my day? you ask...  Shooting+Cousins+Hamburgers+Fruit+chips+Fireworks= The best day ever! I have always been grateful for the blessing of freedom... Sometimes, I use my freedom, and it causes me pain, but I am grateful for the option... God is so good to me! He knew I would make dumb mistakes, and so he provided me with his son, Jesus Christ! He made it possible for me to change, and for that I am so thankful! I <3 Him! Anyway as I was sayin' before, I have always been grateful for the blessing of Freedom. i have not seen all the sacrifice that goes into maintaining the freedom that I enjoy, but I have seen a little... My uncle is in the Nation Guard, and he was deployed for 14 months... I saw how, he sacrificed for our country, but I also saw the sacrifice of the military families! I will FoReVeR be grateful for all the soldiers that serve our country, and for their families, and all people that maintain our freedom in The United States of America! Thank You! To sum up my feelings there is a song, that I love, and that I feel the spirit every time I hear it! It says, "There ain't no doubt I love this land! God Bless the USA!" It is just another day in Lizzie's Lovable (Freedom-Filled) Life!
